Experts in design thinking and brand experience from Point B, Inc., an integrated management consulting, venture investment, and real estate development firm, will offer insights and instruction on brand experience innovation as part of the Design Thinking Conference, April 16 – 18, in Austin, Texas.
As part of the breakout session “Design Thinking for…Brand Experience,” being held on Thursday, April 18 at 11 a.m., Hannah Berson, principal at Point B, will present a case study in conjunction with a global coffee company that illustrates how the organization defined transformational retail concepts to solidify relevance with consumers. Mason West, principal of experience design at Point B, will talk about the role of design thinking in brand experience and offer key learnings to help attendees amplify their design thinking skills.
Berson leads Point B’s design thinking center of excellence. She has over 25 years of international experience in innovation and strategy consulting to leading brands across the financial services, retail, telecommunications and media and healthcare industries. She is a certified design thinking facilitator and incorporates instruction in tools and methods into her work with clients. She tackles growth acceleration challenges that range from brand experience to operational excellence. She has held senior account and operations roles, led the launch of new products and services and designed and implemented innovation frameworks for a range of clients, nationally and internationally.
West leads the Point B Studio Experience Design team across strategy and creative to bring a unified, forward-looking approach to every engagement. He is a passionate brand experience designer dedicated to crafting engaging user experiences that inspire customers, build relationships and drive business results. In his more than 12 years working in the digital design space, he’s done just that for brands including Google, Jenny Craig, Kodak, Xerox, ABC, Intel, Microsoft, Cisco, and Dell.
